When an RTO has reached an agreement on a training fund for apprentices and trainees in 2019 and one of the authorized qualifications is replaced following a review of the training package, the RTO must ensure that it amends its funding agreement to include the new version of the qualification with this application: request to amend the agreement on the Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship Training Fund in 2019. A signed, signed, scanned agreement can be emailed to rtoendorsement@skills.tas.gov.au or emailed to Skills Tasmania at GPO Box 536, HOBART TAS 7001. The Skills Tasmania notification process is simple: if the RTO has added the required information to the TPO, the RTO sends a copy of the TPO to Skills Tasmania at TPO@skills.tas.gov.au at the same time when they return the completed TPO to the ANP. TPOs that have been received with incomplete information cannot be processed, and Tasmania Skills will return these TPOs to RTO for completion and new filing. If a qualification has been replaced or replaced as part of your Apprenticeship and Trainee Training Fund Agreement, you must request that your 2020 funding agreement be different from the new version of the qualification. You can find the request here. A training contract is a legal agreement between an employer and an apprentice or apprentice who describes: Senior Workforce Development and Training Consultant, Skills Tasmania 03 6165 6027userchoice@skills.tas.gov.au To apply for the 2021 Apprentice and Training Fund (User Choice), go to www.skills.tas.gov.au Appropriate skills will help Tasman job seekers find the right career for them, especially in sectors that need more manpower. Please send all applications for the 2019 Fund to Deb Wilcox, Senior Workforce Development and Training Consultant on 03 6165 6060 or userchoice@skills.tas.gov.au You should then submit the TPO as usual by sending it to the ANP at the same time at TPO@skills.tas.gov.au. Additional qualifications cannot be added to your existing agreement in 2020, unless a qualification has been replaced (see above). However, you can reapply at any time for all approved qualifications you wish to add.
RTOs with an approved agreement on the 2019 Learning and Training Fund (User Choice), which have allocated all authorized places and need more places, may be allocated these additional places by Skills Tasmania after a notification process. This is only possible if the OTR has used all the authorized places and an apprentice (AnP) has e-mailed them a training program (TPO) for a new intern or intern. Section 8 of the agreement describes the requirements of insurance. Proof of insurance may be requested by the agreement with rtoendorsement@skills.tas.gov.au GIs who incorporate new qualifications into their scope or who are invited to take training and evaluations for a qualification that has not already been approved for funding grants, in order to complete their 2019 funding agreement with a new smartygrant application. You need this registration if you want to offer group training. A group training organisation is a company that employs apprentices or apprentices on training contracts and places them with invited employers. A host employer is an organization that, as part of a written agreement, welcomes an apprentice employed by a group training organization. To see which NGOs have a recent agreement on the Learning and Training Fund (User Choice) with Skills Tasmania, visit our RTOs with a funding agreement to offer subsidized training for apprentices and apprentices. Registration is required if you train more than 10 apprentices on training contracts. A training contract is an agreement to provide training leading to qualification. The agreement must be in effect if grants are obtained for one of the programs run by Skills Tasmania.
